Travelling to Krakow

AGH University of Krakow is easily reachable by train, plane, bus, and car.

By Plane

The closest airport is Kraków John Paul II International Airport (KRK).

• By taxi: The cost of an official Kraków Airport Taxi is approximately PLN 130. More affordable taxi services are available from the taxi rank near the railway station, with fares starting at around PLN 50.

• By train: Take the train from Kraków Airport to Kraków Główny (Main Railway Station) (ticket price approximately PLN 20).
  From there:
  • Take bus 179 or 304 from Dworzec Główny Zachód 7 and get off at AGH/UR.
  • Alternatively, take a tram from Lubicz Street (tram lines 4 and 14) or from Westerplatte Street (tram line 24) towards Bronowice Nowe. Get off at Plac Inwalidów and walk through Park Krakowski to reach the campus.

By Bus

FlixBus provides affordable transit to Kraków from many cities across Europe.

By Car

Parking near the conference venue at AGH is available at the underground parking lot at the Museum located in the city center. Nearby landmarks include Błonia Krakowskie, Jordan Park, and the National Museum in Kraków, approximately 650 m from AGH (3–4 minutes on foot).

The entrance to the parking lot is from Aleja Adama Mickiewicza, directly behind the National Museum building.

Travelling to the Conference Venue

Located in the centre of Krakow and a short distance from one of the city’s major transport hubs (the nearest stop is 50 metres away), the AGH University of Kraków Campus from different locations, including the airport and main bus and railway stations. Take advantage of the venue’s accessibility and consider using public transportation as your first option for sustainability purposes.

If you travel by public transportation, you can take different bus stops: Chopina or Czarnowiejska.
